You're not the only one asking

Many women who’ve had abortions felt subtle to significant pressure to make that choice. You have the right to decide the outcome of your pregnancy.
No one, whether it’s a partner, boyfriend, spouse, or parent, can legally force or pressure you into having a medical or surgical abortion.
If you think you might be pressured into abortion or feel unsupported in the idea of parenting, reach out to us. We can advocate for you and explain your legal rights. We can also connect you with other resources in our community that can assist you with your situation.

Before moving forward with an abortion, an ultrasound will determine:
-
Whether your pregnancy is progressing: This is crucial in deciding which abortion method you may be eligible for. The type of abortion and its cost depend on your health history and how far along your pregnancy is.
-
Whether your pregnancy is viable: The only way to confirm a viable pregnancy (one that is progressing) is through an ultrasound. Studies show that up to one in four pregnancies do not progress. Some women may not realize they’ve had a miscarriage until it’s detected in an ultrasound. If you’ve miscarried, you’ll need follow-up care from a doctor.
We can help you navigate this and provide clarity about your pregnancy and health.

The cost of an abortion depends on the type of procedure and whether the abortion pill is an option, based on how far along your pregnancy is. It can range from hundreds to thousands of dollars.
Before making any abortion decision, it's important to know how far your pregnancy has progressed. We can help you confirm your pregnancy with an ultrasound through Hope Center. While our center doesn’t perform or refer for pregnancy terminations, we offer limited ultrasounds and options counseling with an advocate at no cost to you. -
We offer no cost ultrasounds (to those who qualify) to determine if your pregnancy is viable and to assess the stage of fetal development.
As a community-funded 501(c)3 nonprofit, Hope Center does not financially benefit from your ultrasound or pregnancy decision.
One additional benefit is that since there’s no charge, none of the procedures will show up on your insurance or be billed to your account.
Your ultrasound information is completely confidential. We’re here to support you as you explore your options in a safe and private space.
You can request a confidential appointment online or text us. Any after-hours requests will be responded to the next business day.
If you're experiencing health issues like bleeding, spotting, or cramping, it’s important to seek immediate medical attention. These could be signs of a miscarriage or spontaneous abortion, and you may need additional medical care.

We do not offer or refer for pregnancy terminations or birth control. We only provide information as an educational service.
