Are your services really free, and do I need insurance?

Yes. All of our services are provided free of charge and are completely confidential. No insurance is required. As a community-funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit, nothing is ever billed to your insurance or added to your medical records.

Do you provide services for teens and minors?

Yes. All of our services are confidential, no matter your age. You may attend your appointment alone or bring someone with you—it is entirely your choice.

Do you provide or make referrals for abortion?

No. Hope Center does not provide or refer for pregnancy terminations or birth control. We provide information as an educational service so you can make an informed decision, and we offer a safe, confidential place to talk through all of your options.

What are Hope Center of Livingston County's qualifications?

Our pregnancy tests and limited obstetric ultrasounds are provided by trained medical staff, including registered nurses, under the supervision of a licensed physician. Hope Center of Livingston County is a community-funded 501(c)(3) nonprofit.

How do you protect my confidentiality?

We take your confidentiality seriously. Everything you share with us is kept private, and because our services are completely free, nothing is billed to your insurance or added to your medical records.

Do you accept walk-ins and/or have same day appointments?

We recommend calling or texting us at (815) 842-2484 to schedule so we can have everything ready for your visit, and we do our best to accommodate same-day requests whenever we can.
